Question Can you jump using a De Gogue??

I've probably spelt that completely wrong- but I saw someone riding with one and thought whether or not you can use one to jump.

I personally believe not because De Gogue or however you spell it puts a horse in outline and I prefer to let the horse see the jump properly.

So...yeah...what do you guys think??

99% of the time, its the riders fault.

It encourages more than forces horses into a true outline

you can do whatever you want. I've seen jumping in de gogue, but I don't think it's the best. If you loosen it for a hole or two, I don't think it's that big an issue... but not regularlz, once, twice, onlz for training. But, actually, wha don't you just loosen it while jumping and connect it while doing flat work? I takes 15 seconds....
