Can you tell me where to find......

Split rains. I'm talking like long ones. I can find them but they are really short. Any help?

Weaver Leather Heavy Harness Split Reins - 5/8" x 7': Saddles Tack Horse Supplies -

I was going to get ones like these a while back. I'm not sure how long you're looking for, but these are 7 feet long.

Ick! I thought about those ones because they had those and the matching headstall on sale a few months ago. I ended up getting an entire bridle at a tack auction that was almost the exact same.

I won't buy anything less than 8 feet long. Also, I suggest you stay away from Latigo leather reins and stick with the harness leather. Latigo leather wears out quicker and has a tendency to stretch. This is what I buy.
3/4" x 8' Water Loop Ends Split Reins | NRS - National Roper Supply - Western Wear, tack, team ropes, horse tack, team roping ropes, bits...

They aren't cheap, but they feel wonderful and they last forever if you take care of them.

yeah. That's why I asked ya'll. Do you know where I could get that in a darker oil? Like a walnut? I'm probably getting a new saddle and that the color it will be so it needs to match because I'm OCD about my tack.

For Schooling and just trail riding...I use these WHITE 7' Braided Cotton Split Reins w/ Snaps & Poppers - eBay (item 360320306497 end time Nov-22-10 02:53:20 PST)

Super soft cotton, never slip because they don't get sweaty or wet...easy to clean...toss em in your washer. Maybe not fancy enough for show but certainly for schooling and such!
