That's why I love those reins with the water tie ends. That way, it's just the little piece of latigo leather that breaks and it's much easier to keep a dozen or so extra pairs of those around at $5 for 6 feet rather than having to buy new reins just every whipstitch at $30+.

Smrobs, absolutely - all but my english reins Claymore busted at the snap, so I can repair them all by adding water ties, which is what I think I will do lol
