Can't find the bit we are looking for... Help?

My friends horse has some bit issues, and we have been trying a myriad of bits to try and get him comfortable. So far we think the best option will be a thin, french link either loose ring or eggbutt snaffle; However we can't find one! We can find thin loose ring single joint snaffles, Fat french link snaffles, but not a think french link snaffle. He has a low palate and small mouth, hence the need for thin. I have a relatively thin brass loose ring french link snaffle on my ASH; This worked OK for pepper but we want something thinner.

Do you know were we can find one? Either in Aus or somewhere that isn't to expensive to ship...

I saw something the other day that could be like waht you want. I was at southwest stockfeeds. Was what you described, it was made out of sweetiron though not stanless steel so not sure if that's what you want. They don't have an online facility but I think the brand was cant-a.

Would any of these suit? It's hard to see how thick they are though

Any type of metal is fine, sweet iron would be ideal but not fussy. That first link has one that looks good, thanks! I will have to show her and see what she thinks.

Yes that looks quite similar to the one I saw at the stockfeeds store. My horse has an eggbutt french link snaffle but with thicker "pieces" (what are those piecess called anyway lol). It is just stainless steel though. It works really well with her.
