Changing saddles for an aging horse TWH is 22, sound, gorgeous and still bubbling with personality. However, coming off the winter, I've noticed his nice Orthoflex endurance saddle doesn't fit anymore. He is not discernably heavier and has stayed fit through the winter, so I can't see any changes in him. But he apparently has changed "shape," because the saddle now rotates to the right and forward. The gap seems to be in his flank area, not his right shoulder. He seems to have hollowed out just forward of his right hip, or at least that's where the saddle is now loose, causing it to twist. I've tried other saddles and get the same results. I'm wondering if a treeless saddle would be a better fit and more comfortable for him. Thoughts? Thanks...
