I need any of those three. Please help me find some good places, I need the half chaps to be under $50 and then for my western chaps (doesn't have to be show) and English Breeces (preferably full seat) $80 or bellow. I need some but I don't want to spend a whole lot because I'm not going to use them very long.

I need both breeches and chaps or just half chaps. X.x I stink a finding apparel because I never really show/use any I just ride in whatever I've got on.. jeans/sweatpants shorts whatever.

Try to find a used tack store in your area ... otherwise I don't know how you are going to find stuff that cheap :) or look on statline or dover for cheap breeches ... good luck!

Chaps/half chaps

Full seat breeches

I just bought the on course cotton full seat. They should be arriving today and when I go home, i'm going to try them on. I'll let you know how they fit.

I also got devon air schooling breeches, with a knee patch, from dover last year. I believe they were around $60 but i'm not sure.

Check out I have found some fairly reasonable prices there. Check out their closeouts and outlet sales. As far as western chaps I prefer chinks the shorter style. I don't know where to tell you to look for those as I have mine made by a local leather/saddle maker.

I like riding in yoga pants not near as expensive but no sticky butt.

Vida, have you ordered from equestriancollections? I ordered something from there, and after 3 weeks, no package, but they charged my card.

I've never ordered from them...thats terrible. Forget that then Abby The only breeches I have are smooth stride but they run a little high. They are boot cut for western boots which is hard to find on the english sites.

Try this....

Ohh ok. I just thought that you had ordered from them. I have to say, once people mess up an order of mine, I don't go back.

I really like the Smooth Stride They are made in the USA and customer service is great. Its a pretty small company, just getting started. They wash up really nice and are very comfy.
I have seen some western show chaps in country supplys catalogue I don't recall the price but I don't think they were too outrages

Thanks for all the help guys. The only tack shop we have within an hour from here only sells new or custom made chaps/breeches etc and they are in the hundreds and I really don't want to spend that much money on something I'm only to use for a few months if that and never use again.
