Generally when it comes to tack, cheap & quality don't go together. Best bet is looking for something used if you are looking for something nice on a budget.

'Cheap' and 'quality' don't belong in the same sentence.

If you want less expensive tack, look for well made used items on consignment, check your local classified sites (like craigslist), and check out ads at your local feed stores.

.

These ship internationally

Horse Supplies, Dewormers, Equine Supplements & Tack Search - Horse.com

WeatherBeeta Horse Clothing < Horse Blankets & Sheets | Dover Saddlery

http://www.equestriancollections.com...c=horseapparel

Shipping prices will be the biggest cost in many cases

.

May all your Trails be happy and safe ones

Kevin

Yeah I know how you feel.. being in NZ everything is charged up the socket for something that you could buy 5 of in the States.

Dover saddlery is awesome, horse.com is pretty good too.

My advice still stands to look locally for used items.

Shipping to Aus will be very expensive I'm afraid. I checked the prices myself (when someone from Aus was interested in my western saddle), and it was just OMG! When I talked to Dover folks about shipping to Europe and Asia (for some friends), they told me upfront it'll be very costly. I agree with advise to look for consignments.

Postage is the killer . I just paid pay $250 aus for postage. I'm looking for American places now as the aus dollar is much stronger in US. Instead of only 60c GBP to the $1 Aus

I like to use Horze.com. They're a european company that ships to 43 different companies, and they just started selling in the United States.
They have a site especially for Australian orders, here is is:
Home | Horze Wholesale

Although some people above are saying that "cheap" and "quality" don't go together, they actually have very fine quality products for often a much lower price than other online stores or tack shops. I talked to a brand ambassador at a horse show once, and they told me that it is because they manufacture ALL of their own products directly, and therefore other companies aren't making their "cuts" and raising the prices.
