Cheapo but good Winter Riding Apparel and Boots

I live in SoCal so winter is not like it is for most of you guys in the horse world...(what is that white stuff falling from the sky in your pictures?!)

BUT!! Contrary to popular belief it does get a tad cold on the winter time.

I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for good cheap breeches, tall boots or half chaps, and vests/coats that would be fitting in the farm. Even tips to stay warm would be nice too! I do not need any super exspensive brands since they will not get the ware and tare like most of my summer gear.

Don't worry about my Lucy, she actually gets her nice warm blanket since our stable has a blanket service for us.

Green Broke
I broke down last winter and bought some under armour to wear under a vest while I rode. It is sweat wicking so it helps keep you warm. Although it is expensive, I didn't get chilled as much. I just wear thick leg tights under my breeches, then wear thick socks inside a pair of Ariat winter boots with my regular half chaps.
