Circle Y Mesquite Trail saddle??

I have an older Billy Cook saddle, original made in Ok that I love, it fits my horse, its fits my behind, I feel safe and secure (all really important things for a newbie rider) BUT

it weighs 45 lbs, and I actually dread moving it from the tack shed to the trailer let alone swinging it on chey's back.

so I am searching for a lighter saddle, it seems like all the saddles I am drawn to , weigh a ton, and really good saddles,,um weigh a ton........i have one of those.

Because I do not have a saddle fitter close anymore, and I am clueless no matter how many videos I watch, I took my billy cook saddle to the shop and we used the plastic forms to see what tree it was and then went around trying it on all the saddles.

It really fit about 8 saddles well, but most were to heavy or did not fit me well, I think I finally decided on

circle Y Mesquite trail saddle, its a non flex,;

any thoughts/comments/advice??????

Don't take life so seriously. After all no one gets out alive.

Circle Y is well made for a production saddle but somewhat overpriced IMO. A Google search indicates that the saddle is a discontinued model but that really doesn't mean much.

Overall, if it fits both you and your horse, it could be a good deal if the price is right.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

Two of my friends have Circle Y saddles and they love them. Not sure which models they each have, but I know my one friend that boards at the same stable I do has a brand new one (seriously only has about 6 rides on it) and my other friend has had hers for years.
Do not tell me I can't...because I will show you that I can.
