Is it weird that I feel kind of sad for the BO that everybody seems to be appraising the saddle so low?

I was looking at saddles on eBay and the park and trails seemed to go anywhere from $500 to $750 which is why I was thinking of offering $600.

I just sold my Circle Y Park and Trail for $450. It was still in great condition and was about 28 yrs old. I would have kept it, but it didn't fit either of my present horses. It also didn't fit me anymore.

Been asking around and a lot of people recommend not offering more than 450 or so.

$600 is not an unreasonable offer. Are you sure it's mold and not saddle soap that has dried in all the nooks and crannies and tooling? Today the Park and Trail new is over $1500.
