Cleaning an alpaca cinch

My alpaca cinch is getting a bit sweaty. What's the best way to clean it? TIA.

I would soak it in a bucket with baby shampoo to loosen the sweat and hair then carefully rinse.
I would either be careful when you used it the first time because it will more than likely stretch back out after shrinking from washing/drying or tack two nails on a board to stretch between while it dries.

Woolite and cool water, dry out of the sun.
