cleaning and care mini horse tack

hello fellow horse lovers. i am just starting to learn how to drive the miniature gelding at our local barn. i am wondering about how i should clean his tack. am i aloud to use saddle soap. any major do not use this product warnings, are there parts i shouldent use soap and just wipe off.

What type of material is the harness? Leather, biothane, nylon? You can care for miniature horse tack the same as any other tack when it comes to leather soaps and conditioners.
