Cleaning gel pads

What do you guys do for these?

My friend went on a trip for a few weeks and I offered to give her tack a spring cleaning while she was away. She left a gel pad with me, I believe it's this one (or similar): Shedrow Aerated Gel Pad-On Sale until Apr 30 2012 [RIE0147]

It's a nice pad but it's pretty there any way to clean it? And if so, how?

Thanks in advance! :)
