Cleaning Suede...please help :O

So I bought a used saddle, and there is something on the suede seat that shouldn't be there, let's just say that. I was wondering if there is any easy ways to clean the suede seat. It's tan color. I don't really want to have to go out and buy anything "special" for it, so is there any common household items or cleaner that can clean it? Any suggestions are appreciated and welcome!

Sandpaper works great, just rub the area lightly with it and the stains should come right off. I had a tan suede seat that had berry stains all over it and that did the trick. I wouldn't use too rough of a grade sandpaper though.

They make suede cleaner and it's not expensive.

Before I'd use any home remedy, I'd try that. After, all it would cost a heck of a lot more for you to replace the saddle seat than it would to use an actual suede cleaner.

Do you know any common stores I could get this at?

Shoe stores often have suede cleaner as a lot of shoes have suede (particularly skate shoes) I don't know about tan though
