Collegiate Convertible Saddle - Opinions?

I need to get a new saddle for my OTTB. Mine is way to big for her so I've been borrowing a no name lesson saddle. I was originally planning on getting a wintec close contact so I could fit her properly. But then I was looking at the Collegiate Convertibles and they're oooh so pretty. I can't decide between the Diploma and the Allumni.

I really want the Diploma. But I noticed that the Allumni is cutback a little. I don't know for sure if that's a feature my horse will need once I fit her with the correct gullet size. But I'm leaning towards no.

I'm a little worried about riding in a saddle that has the hook shaped stirrup bars. My saddle has the flip up kind, or whatever they're called. I don't want the leather to fall of when I'm jumping. Is that a reasonable fear or am I just being silly? I think it's a dangerous design.

What else do you guys think about these two saddles?
