Collegiate Saddles?

I've been looking for a new saddle leisurely, and I like the look of these. They seem to be inexpensive. $599 on Dover, new! I've been looking on EBay, too.

What do you guys think of the all purpose english Collegiate saddles?

I use several different collegiate eventing saddles (a 17", 17 1/2", and 18") and... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!!!!

Allot of my friends have them, or the jumping ones, and everyone loves them.

They're comfy, keep you in the correct position, and they're really sturdy.

The ones I use are several years old I think, and they're in amazing condition. Everything about them is great. I like them as much as my instructor's stubben.

I was actually thinking of buying the collegiate dressage saddle. so I love them, hope it helps!

I got Collegiate Diginary (spell? :) ) a/p last year after trying gazillion of english saddles in Dover. It's comfortable for my back, and deep so I feel safer in it. Fit my horse nice. The only problem I didn't use it that much (I use my western saddle most of the time), so didn't break in yet.

P.S. If you want I can borrow you so you can break it for me. Lol! Lol! Lol!

I have a Collegiate Diploma Convertible. LOVE it. Its sooo comfy, the leathers nice and supple, and if it scratches, the scratch goes away with a little oil. Its a great saddle, I got mine for about $1,000. But even the cheaper ones from Collegiate are really nice. 3 years later and its still show quality. SOOO comfy too haha.

That's a great one too if you want a deep seat. (Plus that ones already broken in) Haha. I actually saw that earlier today (thats my local tack shop), its a nice saddle.

I LOVE my Collegiate Senior Event saddle. I've had it for 5 or so years or more now (I can't remember...) and it fits nearly everything I put it on, and it's stood up really really well.
