Smile Craigslist May Suprise You...

And No, this isn't a thread about how dumb CL is. Though the people on it are a little off...

It is SO worth it when you find a gem!!

I found an add on a family who moved barns, and their new barn had no storage, so they had tons of stuff completely negotiable.

We went over there, and I got the following -

- A HUGE tack box - that lightweight plastic kind
- Saddle Cover
- Fitted riser pad
- Saddle pad
- MYLER bit (hunter dee)
- saddle stand
- heated water bucket, with a spot on the bottom to hide the cord
- like new Black Slinky for head, neck, chest

All for how much?
Yea, really! The bit itself should be that much! The tack box twice that! I was sooo happy! We didn't have to negotiate at all - they literally gave us that price. The Myler, saddle cover, fitted riser, and slinky was only $40. The giant tack box (I'll try to find one online) saddle pad, saddle stand, and heated bucket consisted of the other $40.

I was so happy!! Anyone else like to share their barn-cleanout-sale successes, or something of the sort?

My wife went to some sales and got some real good deals for child seat and toys etc. Though getting that for cheap is pretty good.

Well I found some boots my size for $35 but when I asked to see pictures, she blew up on me about how these aren't $300 boots so therefore I don't need to be asking her to take pictures.

It's like I asked her to flash the president or something, sheesh..

But wow that's amazing! Great find! :)
