They are VERY popular in gaming, except they are thicker and have larger than the English version.
Don't see many people wearing these spurs though, lol:

You can make them.... I make mine Just get a leather browband and cover it I have some really nice ones for my little lady :)

Those spurs are very easy to make. Just get a pair of spurs and buy those stick on jewels from walmart and voila.

You can glue but I just sew mine on, they last better nothing special any dress shop carry the sew on jewels, as far as your brow band I just buy mine you can get them really cheap on ebay, or if not make one just measure your horses brow get a strip of soft leather not to thick and loop both ends so it will slip on your bridle and cover it... really easy... I made fly masks last year just messing around I had some really fancy ones lol....

I got a pretty faux peal and crystal browband for my girl from caribu horsewear for just $25AUS, not sure if they ship to the US though.

I absolutely LOVE those but I have a gelding. I think he would look pretty funny with a shiny, crystal browband, lol. And knowing me I would get it in pink. It's my favorite color. He already has to wear a pink halter. Which he looks sooo cute in by the way, lol.
