CSI saddle pads

It is too hot outside so I am bored playing on the internet...

Has anyone bought a CSI saddle pad? They are $350 a pop!
Are they worth the money?

A friend of mine bought one a couple of years ago at RTTH, and LOVES it! By the time she got done with wear leathers in basketweave, etc.....it was over $500, but it is all she uses. I have actually been considering one.

Holy crap that's a pile of money!

I don't mind spending money on my horses but it better be worth it! LOL
I have been reading what people say about them and most folks love them. But the ones that don't, really hated them.
I think buying the correct liner is the key with that pad.

If you go on youtube there's a gal who explains saddle fitting and promotes the CSI pad. I just use a pure wool felt pad and it was less than half the price of the CSI.

That's funny because I just asked another gal that had one and she said the same exact thing:)

I love looking at these new space age contraptions and think I need one, then go back to 'ol faithful...the wool pad.(but I do have a Bio fit wool one for Zorro)

I think I might try a used one if it is reasonable in price and condition. The price tag is just ridiculous!

I have one. Nice pad, but definitely NOT worth the money.

I've never used one. But cheapskate that I am, I would rather put $500 towards another saddle.

I do have a 5-Star and a few Impact Gels and I love those.
