Curling tongue behind the bit

Any bit suggestions for a horse that curls the tongue behind the bit? I have had her in a single jointed d-ring snaffle and a 3 jointed snaffle with no luck. I currently have her in a rubber wrapped mullen mouth which she seems more relaxed with, but still will occasionally curl her tongue. Any ideas?

First thing I would do is see if the bit needs to be raised a little. If it is at the right setting, you might try to find a tongue depressor to put on your bit. It really helps this problem without adding ant severity.
