Dakota Saddle

Hi, I was wondering what you guys thought about the Dakota saddles. I found one that someone bought, but never used. It still has the tags on it, has always been stored indoors and has never been on a horse. They are wanting to sell it for $600 with a matching headstall and breast collar.
Would this be a good deal, and would it fit my 6yo TWH?
Below is a link with the specs.

If it fits you and your horse I'd snatch it up. I have a dakota barrel saddle and am very impressed with the quality. I bought it used (2 years old?) and I have no doubts that it's going to last me decades. It also fits my difficult to fit QH as close to perfectly as it gets. I'm interested in getting a dakota roping saddle now. Great quality for a great price.

Dakota saddles are your higher end (not highest) of production saddles. If my memory serves me well they are made here in America with American tanned leather (not Indian or pakistani leather which is not quality controled). A basic Pleasure saddle alone is about $700 dollars give or take some. Be sure of fit before purchase or your horse will pay the price. If the fit is good then grab it up for $600 dollars that includes the bridle and breast collar is a good deal. Dakota also makes specialty saddles and custom saddles for those who wish to have such. (and can pay for it)

That sounds like a real good deal if it fits you/your horse like others have said in MO. I own a Dakota 2212 trailsaddle been real happy with it and has held up good .

Post pics if you git it !
