Which do you like best?

Just to be clear, I'm NOT trying to advertise my stuff (well, to you anyway lol) - I simply want to know which banner would most likely attract you as a horse person and why

These will be displayed at booths at shows and whatnot, so they need to be attractive, easy to read from anywhere, and communicate the message clearly. My tack will be displayed as well Thanks!

Vertical Banner with Full Head
This would be a 6' x2.5' banner (going for size here!) hanging between my display racks, which are 6'x2'

Horizontal banner with eye - Large caps text
This one uses the all-caps font, which can't be bolded but I think looks sharp. It's larger than the name in the other one that's otherwise the same. (4'x2.5')

Horizontal banner with eye - Small caps text
This is the same as the last one, but with smaller title font.

Horizontal banner with eye - Bold Text
All the same, except different title font that is bolded.

Green Broke
I think the first one is the easiest to read. I like the idea of the 2nd through 4th. But my eye gets distracted from the lettering and goes to the yellow knot instead. Maybe if you used a contrasting color for the lettering? There is my unprofessional opinion...lol!

The first one is actually the one I originally was going to order and almost did yesterday, but I decided to experiment with some of the other pictures just to be sure and came up with the other three. One person thought that the horse looked annoyed in the first one, which is the only thing that makes me hesitate to get it (I think he's just listening though lol). Does the look on his face distract or deter you, or is it really not that big of a deal?

These are the only two that I can come up that come closer or better than the yellow. The white/grey isn't all that terrible, but it doesn't exactly "pop" either...

Unless you can get a picture with the horse's ears up, I wouldn't use that vertical picture.

Nothing says, "I hate this" more than pinned ears. That's not the message you want to send.

I picked the fourth one. Maybe use black text instead of yellow? Definitely don't use the blue; it looks ghastly.

This is with the caps font, which I personally prefer if it doesn't make it harder to read.

Yeah, that's what I was concerned about. I just decided I hate the blue lol. Black is really difficult to read - tried it yesterday. The grey doesn't seem all that difficult to read?

OK, down to these two.

Yay, well that was a quick process of elimination. I think this text shows up best after experimenting with many. So the question is, which font? I like the caps one because it seems more "professional", but the other font is more bold so does it make it significantly easier to read? Remember, this isn't exactly small either - it's 4' by 2.5'

Go with the bolder font. The idea is for the customer to easily see the lettering.

Hmmm... I'm still not entirely positive that I want to throw out the vertical banner, though. As someone else pointed out, the attention goes to the knot and the eye rather than the words, also making for less effective advertising. Given that people will mostly be walking by and glancing, does it really make that big of a difference that his ears aren't forward?
