Do YOU wear a helmet?

I always wear one, and they have saved my life multiple times. Just be safe rather than sorry, you never know when your horse is going to spook or somthing.

Absolutely. There is no reason at all for me to not wear a helmet, it has zero effect on how I ride. I can think of a million reasons to wear a helmet and not a single reason to not wear one.

I always wear a helmet, without fail. I also enforce this on my students. No helmet? No riding. It's just not worth the risk.

Agreed! Now that I'm wearing a helmet, I feel much safer! Not in a way of 'oh I can do stupid things because I have protection' but in a way of keeping me safe(r) if I fall off. It doesn't really bother me because it has no effect on my riding.

Didn't wear a helmet, and I've gotten many concussions. A month and a half ago I was riding my four year old mustang out on trails and a dog attacked us, and my horse threw me. Got a nasty concussion and had to ride the five miles back barely able to stay on the horse. So now I wear a helmet.

I don't wear helmet when I am doing some light work in the school but I wear one when hacking or jumping.

I should just wear a helmet all the time. Funny though Not once have I hit my head falling from a horse.. but many times on the ground tripping falling yup I even fall up stairs !!!

I do. Mostly because my trainer insist on it. But I feel much safer with it on. I always manage to get my head hit on the tree branches while riding so a helmet is a must for me. Usandpets I am freaking talented.
