Sorry if this is something you already know, but I haven't see it mentioned yet...this saddle is not a parade/show saddle but a Mexican Vaquero saddle.

If you're concerned about messing up the saddle, just don't trail ride in it yet. It's going to be like that new truck or favorite new pair of blue jeans. You'll know when it's time to get down and dirty in it.

Right now it's still special. In time, you'll start to use and abuse it like we all do.

Congrats on the new saddle btw, it's really cool looking.

Yeah, It is a vaquero type saddle, but I've seen plenty of people get away with riding in those or similar.
I think a toothbrush would probably be fine... Don't quote me on it though
