    Don't know what this is for...

    I traded someone for some tack and I got something unexpected.
    I don't have a picture, but I did find it on Tractor Supply's website:

    Weaver Leather Nylon Noseband - 5043540 | Tractor Supply Company

    It says it's a noseband and it came with some sort of little strap with a clip on both ends. My first thought was that it's some kind of bitless bridle, but I don't know about western tack.

    Is it a tie-down, like this?

    It is a noseband to clip a tie down to for roping or gaming
