I know some of you have had less than stellar experiences with Dover, but I have to say, I have never been less than pleased.
This is the second time I have had a turnout I purchased there tear. I have had many from there over the years, and have always thought their Riders brand was great (the 1200D ones), never an issue, until this horse. He ripped his sheet within the first month last spring. I called them, told them it was ripped, and without question they sent me a replacement, as well as a prepaid shipping label for the return. They even said to ship it "as is"-so off it went with anotu 10 lbs of mud~!
In the Fall I ordered 2 medium t/o's-Weatherbeeta Oricans, since I wanted a different color, and it was still the 1200D. Again, this guy has ripped it! So, I just called them, and again, without question, they are exchanging it, BUT they are upgrading me to the 1680D at no charge. Now the new one, the Riders brand Northwind, is warrantied for 2 years, so I should be good for a while!
After being in customer service for years, I really appreciate the effort. Just had to give kudos where they are due.
