Each to their own people, not that I would hunt in a dressage saddle, but some people have a flask in their pocket, and their sandwiches in a box, others have their mangled sandwich in their pocket and their large flask hanging

I don't wanna lose my flask, so no way would I put it in my pocket!

But.... what if you get bucked off your horse? In that case, I would expect you would be sadly in need of a drink, and there goes your brandy, galloping madly down the trail.

Perhaps your nice flask strapped to the saddle, with a spare in your pocket?

So then these rings would most likely be seen on older a/p saddles or the such and not dressage saddles?

What if you wanted more than one flask or more than one sandwich? I've just been tying my saddle bags to the billets

Dammit, now I gotta get another flask!

Maybe I should just carry it strapped to my arm like a cellphone? After all, you're quite right that I'll need a little nip of happiness if my horse runs off with my lunch and saddle!

Poppy, you won't find them on the newer dressage saddles, but pretty much every other type out there will still have them.

after we cleaned the saddle the leather was decently soft but you could tell it need ed an oiling.

Plus it looks a narrow fit, though that might be the photo angle - no more than a medium, in any case.

Cheap enough at the price IF it fits your horse :)
can you specify a little bit more so I could get some pics up so you could look at them a little closer
