Dressage Stirrup Leathers with W-Germany???

I found these leathers on an old saddle and I love them! I want to buy more but I have no idea what brand they are. The end tapers to a full point, like a pencil and they are thicker thean most leathers I've found or seen. The one side only has a metal piece that says W-Germany. Does anyone have an idea what this brand is??? I can get a picture up if needed.

It's not a brand, it means they're made in west Germany. So you can safely say they were made before the fall of the Berlin wall, since after that there was no more west or east Germany, only Germany

Hmmm darn, that's what I was guessing but I wasn't sure. I love them, the leather is absolutely perfect! But now it makes sense, things were just made better back then :) And I have no idea how long they were on this saddle, I got it from a friend who ordered it offline.

As long as you can find them " made in Germany" you still should get good quality

See if Gary Mundy can copy them. But he didn't do any calfskin wrapped leathers last time I checked. Google and you can find some contact info someplace.
