Driving cart?

Hello Im wanting to start driving my 10 year old 15 hand paint mare she is really great to ground drive and isn't spooked by anything,But I really have no idea what I am looking for when it comes to a cart as far as size, material, price? I really just want something that will work it doesn't have to be gorgeous....I will also need a harness, any good brands, ideas?

-I really don't want to go over 500$

Not sure where you're from, but do you have a 'Greenhawk' horse store in your area? They have a nice two wheel 'starter cart' for around 500$.
Or check local ads, you can probably find a used one with a harness for that amount too.
Maybe a local driving club or trainer would have some contacts as well.

Good luck!

Green Broke
You will need shafts about 80" long and I am guessing 25" width at the tip as your horse doesn't look wide. The shafts should be balanced and rest at approx 3'. I would get a front easy entry also. If you want a nice new harness in the 1000.00 range I can point you in a direction. I looked for used for some time and just had a new one custom made so I didn't have to worry about fit or broken or missing pieces.
