Question dying SMB Elite boots

Has anyone ever tried dying SMB boots? I can't find the color that I really want, and I was thinking about buying white and dying them the color that I want, and needed to know if anyone else had tried it, and was it successful?

my cousin has, she just bought the dye you get at wal-mart and stick in the washer and washed the smb boots with. it worked. but afterwards you have to run your washer through again because of the dye.

I would be worried the color wouldnt hold up through future washings after getting dirty or even the color bleeding all over the place.

PC makes a lot of colors, what were you looking for?

Either burnt orange or yellow, neither of which does PC make in the SMB Elite with Ventech.

Barrel Racer Superstore: Professional's Choice-SMB Elite VenTech Sports Medicine Boot-New Colors!

I couldn't get a color preview for the yellow and orange but it seems they have them...maybe call and ask and double check?

I know according to PC's website those are not two of the color options for the Elites, but they are for the III's I think. The orange is Neon Orange, and the yellow is not exactly the color yellow, it's paler than what I want. But either way it's not the boots that I want. I want the Elites, not the IIIs. I know I'm being picky, but if I have to pay that much money for them, I want them in the color that I want them, if you know what I mean?

I get that I just feel like dying them will not look good at all and will look worse with time. Why pay so much for something that could go wrong like that? It's completely up to you tho!

I strongly suggest taking a look online for boots. If you already know what size and brand you need, you can almost always find them for cheaper.

Dying them would be no different than any other clothing. And the color holds really well, as long as you get white then dye them
