Eep! I need opinions on an ebay sale quickly!

I've been looking for a nice close contact saddle for Gracie, and I was looking at Bates saddles on ebay and found this one! Do you guys think it's worth spending around $600 bucks for that one? (Versus finding another one and waiting?) I really like the adjustable gullet system... and everything seems to be in tip top condition...

    Thanks!

YES that is a great deal! I prefer some of their older models to the newer ones (originally made and assembled in Australia as opposed to now where it's all AUS leather but they are assembled elsewhere - still a great saddle either way). Anyway, Bates is great - the CAIR is awesome and the easy-change gullet system is ideal imo. I have 6 bates saddles and several wintec, and love them all.

I also recommend them through Equi-Eval | Full Service Equine Evaluations when I do saddle fitting as they fit most (not all) horses really really well!

I also have a Bates and I love it. I would recommend one to anyone.
