Top five English?

CWD, Antares, Black Country, County, Luc Childeric, Devoucoux...I've ridden in most of these brands but have never been fortunate enough to own one.

Have you seen the shape of reindeer withers?

He'd probably get the fit wrong

I'm not too concerned about the condition of the saddle shown on the horse. What does concern me is whether there is enough clearance at the withers when the horse has been ridden for about 20 minutes. Forget the $70 black saddle on ebay. It's junk. Please, everyone look at the underside. See how fleece has been used in the air channel. This is an air channel and air is supposed to move along it not get trapped in the material. Also, it conceals the tree, which I suspect is hollow fiberglass.

Yeah, you need lots of money for those, even used.

OP, if Wintec fits your horse I'd look into one - you may find some cheap. Can you borrow some saddles in a barn or from friends to see the fit? English saddles could be a pain to find a good fit depending on your horse confo.
