    I test rode a collegiate and was quite impressed! It didn't suit my hard to fit horse though :P
    My first saddle was a wintec. It did the job for almost 2 years before I traded it in. In my opinion its a good starter saddle.

    I think the Wintecs are great first time saddle. I still keep one at home for training the babies in. Great to have when they decide to play, its not my nice saddle that gets scratched or even wrecked.

    Tho I wouldnt buy one because I prefer leather, the new synthetic saddles are pretty nice looking, most you can barely tell it is synthetic.

    What synthetic saddles are on the market? Is the only brand wintec? Or are there others?
