English Saddle Fit on this big QH

Since my dad was too lazy to go for a ride with me so I could ride my 3 year old filly, I decided to do something he would hate - ride his rope horse English.
She's an awesome mare and doesnt get half the credit she deserves for it!
I loved riding her English because I could just drop my reins and let her trot and work on MY riding. Which was an awesome change for once!

So, how does my saddle fit her?

See, what a DOLL

And no reins! Hahah

Interruption out of pure curiosity- what brand is that saddle?

The width and front/rear balance look okay to me :)

Not sure about the back view, though. It might just be the picture, but if the cantle is skewed to the right in reality the horse's n/side shoulder might be bigger than the off and forcing the front of the saddle back on that side. In which case the arch is not quite wide enough.

You'd have to check that yourself on the ground. Hopefully it's just the way she's standing :)

That's probably the photo where she had her one back foot relaxed and made everything crooked. I had a time trying to get her to stand up lol.

Its a thorowgood tecniq :)

I know that problem well!

Interesting - that model was never available in the UK. They did a Tecniq years ago, fixed-width medium only.

This saddle is a rarity I feel. There doesnt seem to be a lot of them out there!

I also underpaid for it by quite a bit
