English saddle issues - again

    Put it above the saddle pad. Another thing, did you pull the front of the pad up into the pommel? If not, sometimes the front of the pad puts pressure on the spine at the withers. This can be uncomfortable.

    You mean pull it up so there is air between the withers and the pad? If so, yes. I always did that, ever since a trainer called me stupid for not doing it!

    It goes on top of standard square pad (well, if it's really square for CC saddle haha). The thinline top will absorb the shock. I'd give it a try for sure.

    I rode english in my western saddle today. I'm such a wuss. He was all up and watching the dogs run in and out of the woods and was waiting for Max to come out of the house and looking for the pig so I rode english in y western saddle...

    And of course... he was an angel. Had I rode english in the english saddle a deer would have jumped out of the woods... You should have seen me jump when the geese flew over. He was like... uh... caffeine much?
