Perhaps the numbers give some sort of tree indication, but my guess would be that it's more of a style number. Unfortunately, I can't help you too much with them!

ART....not real sure about, could be the initials of the actual person who made it. Not sure if Collegiate does this with thier saddles or not.

6547....more than likely serial number (the numbers themselves usualy represent signigicant things but I cannot remember)

16 1/2 is seat size.
