I would say no on BOTH of those saddles. Golden Horse does have better ones that she might be selling.

I'd probably go max... $250-300... I'm not showing or anything, so scuffs and such aren't a big deal... it's more fit wise and convincing my parents to let me get it.

Not impressed with either one, to be honest. The first one is a no-name, and the second one doesn't look to be in very good shape. Those sueded panels are wrinkled, and I can't imagine how that happened unless the leather's cheap.

Look for branded saddles, not just at the price.

I maybe able to cut you a deal on he Thorowgood, which is a super nice saddle, just doesn't fit my riders now, bought it for a medium to wide Haffy

4 English saddles for sale - Saskatoon Pet Accessories - Kijiji Saskatoon Canada.

Everything else is maybe a bit more than you want to spend right now, but honestly. It would be better to wait a little while and spend more money, cheap no names are cheap for a reason.

Are you on Face book, there are lots of tack trade and swap groups for SK on there, pm me for details if you like

I like the Stubben... but of course it's sold! I'm on a lot of groups, The Sask. Tack and Equipment for sale one, the Alberta one and English tack for sale in Canada :P

They both look suspiciously like cheap Indian-made saddles. No maker's name mentioned isn't a good sign.
You should be able to get a good, used Stubben, Courbette, Passier, Crosby, Kieffer, Wintec etc in your price range if you stick to the older ones.
Get something made in Europe, Australia, or North America. Something with a respected name. Resale value will also be better if you ever need to sell it.
