Excited - I finally got an Isabell Werth.

For six years now I've been wanting an Isabell, namely because there's a lot to like about the saddle (in my opinion anyway). All my best rides have been in one, and I've really felt the difference in my position, my effectiveness and my overall riding in it, compared to my Wintec 500 Dressage.

My main reason however, is because I'm partially disabled in my right leg and find it difficult to support it, especially when its weak and lacking strength. The Isabell in the past has really helped with the stirrup bars being positioned back further, to help bring my leg into a comfortable alignment and secure it.

I'm so thrilled, I've been smiling like a loon all day since I won the auction late last night. Knowing that I'm not the most effective rider, and having the means to correct myself with a great saddle has excited me immensely.

I'm sure many members here have their own preferred saddle, and have taken the time to save and try within their means to get it, and when they have, been over the moon too, so I just had to share!

Now I've just got to wait for it to arrive!!

Hahah I know the feeling!
When I first got my show gear I would look at it every morning and think "Wow, I am going to wear this snazzy gear!" lol

Haha exactly! When it arrived, I hugged it to myself like a weirdo! So well packed (it was sent down from up north) and in really good condition... a bargain for how much I paid really :)

And thats the best way to be, believe me. Some of the dramas from supposed horse girls I know on my FB over boys, makeup and growing up is somewhat scary!

Did you look into the wintec dressage pro yet?
