Question Favorite Breast plates?

What would be the best breast plate to use on my mare for trail riding?
I was thinking about an elastic breastplate
What do you use?
For trails or cross country riding
thanks!

Subbing! I am about to buy a breastplate for trails too.

Have you seen this online store? Breastplates
I like the idea of the elastic breastplate, though if my horse decided she'd probably go for the fuzzy ones, in hot pink ;)

I am here to learn! :)

I don't personally use a breastplate, but I wouldn't get an elastic one because I think the elastic could get stretched out and eventually the breastplate could be too large for your horse.
I'm just going by what happens to all things I have with elastic in them :p

I use an ordinary three point elastic breastplate for everything. I bought it to give my horse more freedom in the shoulders when she stretches forward.

For Western, I have a nylon one for gaming and a few leather ones for trailer. I don't notice a difference, personally.
