Field Boot Recommendations

So, I recently bought myself some field boots, and I regretted it because I bought them without doing any research or thinking about what I wanted in them. They promptly broke (on the 8th ride, or something like that) and now I want to actually figure out what pair of boots will work for me.

Here's what I want in a pair...

<$350 (preferably under $300)
Leather that isn't too thin, and will break in pretty easily
NO zippers, pull on only
Something classy looking (I only say this because I want to feel good in them, and when somethings pretty, I feel good )

I have a wide calf, and i'm a size 9.5 or 10. I could possibly be willing to pay more than 350, but only if I went to the store and they were amazing. That being said, I just want to know what people think of certain boots. I'm definitely going to the tack store to try them on!

Thanks!

The Ariat Crowne's are a great boot. They're changing models so a lot of stores have been clearencing them out, especially the models without the zipper (they were recently on Tack of the Day for $250!)

Another vote for Ariat Crownes. They are fantastic boots. My old pair finally pooped out after 6 years of hardcore showing and schooling use!

Thanks! I'll definitely have to try some on when I next go to the tack store!
