Flex Rider Inga Dressage Saddle

Any of you seen or used one? I need reviews. I might try and find a used Isabell, but no such luck so far.

Flex Rider Inga Dressage Saddle - Dover Saddlery.

It seems nice enough, I don't think anyone would really notice the difference unless they looked on the stirrups keeper bar (says Flex Rider). Sure it isnt exactally the same, and is cheaper, but it looks like it would get the job done and keep me in a decent position (im pretty good at holding my leg back, if it pulls my leg forward. I have even been told that I hold my leg to far back).

If anyone knows of any used for sale, let me know! =]

It looks really nice to me. Im not a fan of the suede synthetic saddles, or at least on the flaps. It shows wear alot more then a leather saddle.

Are you planning to take lessons? Show at some point? Is this more of a leisure thing for you?

Having owned both leather AND synthetic saddles, I would really recommend looking online or in stores for a used, brand name dressage saddle as opposed to brand new synthetic.

They sell them at the local tack store, they are a version of the wintecs. I didn't like that they only came in a suede or half-suede versions. Personally if I were you I would go with a wintec if you want to go the synthetic route, they just seem nicer to me.

Wow, that dressage saddle has a very strait tree. What is the shape of your horses back?

I got a thorowgood with the fish system I love. It was only about $250 from ebay. Id take that over a wintec any day. I got lucky that it fit my mare so well, but I always prefer to test ride them first.

Around here I had heard a lot of complaints about thorowgoods. Aren't they made of a kind of clothy material? Most people around me swear by their wintecs.

They are made of the same type of material as wintecs. They are a little softer though. I personally hate wintecs, all the ones I've ridden in were like riding on a rock.
