Aha! I found it!

I read the reviews on the Dover link... don't know what the one person was talking about that only gave them 2 stars. Maybe the Fillis' that came with my saddle were just that cheap? Nah! These are excellent stirrups. As far as safety, I've taken spills in these and in Fillis', and when I fell out of the Fillis irons I felt them hit my feet as I fell. With these, it feels like the stirrups just vanish at the right time, if that makes sense. I don't think they're any harder to find after losing them than regular irons, but they are easier for me to keep in the first place. The only thing that "might" make them better would be an offset eye, but I think that the tendency for the leathers to pull them around is part of the safety feature. If they didn't swivel around with no weight in them the bend might not be in the right place at the right time to miss catching your toes? My $0.02.

There is a Fillis version of that too, with the heavy bottom and white pad. National Bridle Shop has them.

Item#: 5-244879 at horseloverz.com is a nickel plated cheaper version of them for $14.90 and they are pictured with pads. 4.5" size only. Google for horzelovers coupon and find a $5 off web orders coupon.

Item#: 5-159626 is stainless 4.5" or 5" for $21 but no pads so you'll need to add another $2 or so for them.

Fillis version is here Gaited Horse Saddles, Tack & Supplies for $30 with white pads. 4.25 or 4.75 sizes

Don't buy any curved side iron too big. They are roomy to begin with because of the open side. 1/4" to 1/2 " extra is all you need.
