Front Riser Pad?

Hi there,

I've just got a brand new saddle for my flat backed no withered fjord pony... she's a 5 year so they is hope that she might get some withers (HIGHLY doubting it...) but it fits almost perfect apart the front is just slightly to low which is making it slip down... because obviously she doesn't have any withers to hold it up... I rode her today with two numnahs... one dressage pad and a general purpose one with sheep skin bit where it would sit on the withers which bulked it up but it wasn't perfect...

So I need a front riser! And after spending 350 on a new saddle and excepting a large vet bill for my other horse... i'm not keen on the idea of spending to much more money!!

Is there any cheap ones? Or has anyone made one? Because they don't seem massively hard to recreate...

I was thinking of sewing two numnahs together and putting some dense foam in the sides at the front to rise it??

Any suggestions? :)
