Talking Full cheek, double-jointed, ported snaffle bit? lol

No joke.... My boy needs either a ported bit or a double jointed snaffle and preferrably with shanks. And I was searching (with some help from JustDressageIt and other fellow forum-mates) a while ago for an alternative to the Kimberwicke or Pelham that my instructor suggested. I did a search for full cheek bits on eBay and what came up? A brand new full cheek, double-jointed snaffle with the middle link being ported. AND it was $35 with free shipping. Needless to say, I jumped on that deal. It arrived two weeks ago and my boy goes like a dream in it! I will get pictures tonight.

I just thought I'd share this with everyone. Hehe

Anyone else ever found any unusual bits??

It is a ported snaffle. It's hard to explain it. I'll post pictures tonight.

SS Full Cheek Eggbutt Snaffle Bit 5" Ported Link NEW!! - eBay (item 390116092622 end time Nov-11-09 13:24:33 PST)

Here's an eBay ad for the exact same bit. This is the person who I bought it from also. S/he sells them brand new.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post!
