Getting a dressage saddle

I am buying my instructor's old Dressage saddle, now that he has a new (and really nice one from Hanover) saddle. But, we aren't sure how much we want to sell it for.

It is old. But it is still in usable shape. The fenders(?) Are a bit stiff, but with some proper care and oiling, they will be good in no time. It did have stirrup straps that went with it, however, they got about a quarter of the straps chewed off by a packrat.

I did think previously that the billets were chewed, but they haven't been touched, if anything just slightly stretched on one of them.

I will get pictures this weekend when I see it. We didn't find a name on it, but if there was, it might have worn off from its use.

How much would you pay for for a good, old dressage saddle that is "generic"?

Sorry, but without either a name of the maker or at least some photos to make a judgement on the condition, I cannot even hazard much of a guess.
Like 250? If the billets are weak, then consider replacing them and the cost thereof. Stirrup leathers cost about 80 to 120 new. It it's rat chewed, trash it.
The flaps , are they cracked? From the dryness?
