Getting a kink out of a reata

Hi everyone,
I hope someone here can advise me. I bought a second hand reata a few months ago, it's in a very good condition, but it's got a kink in one place that causes it not to want to "roll up" normally. The first three loops are fine, then one loop wants to go figure eight on me. Any way I can "straighten it out?"
