good or bad to order saddle and tack online?

I found this saddle package on statelinetack.com. It is the old version of the Wintec close contact. The description says it comes with a girth, bridle, reins, bit, stirrup irons and webbers.
Do you think it's a good idea or a bad idea to order this all online?
the reviews said it was a great saddle but I'm not sure. The sizes would work for most horses, so I don't think that'd be a problem.

As long as the place allows trial I see no problem with it (however you'll have to pay for shipping twice if it won't fit).

Could you borrow a wintec from someone in barn/friends to see if it fits your horse?

Well, the good news is you can change the gullet, and shipping won't be horrible for a saddle like that.

I'd like to buy a western saddle, but I'm afraid of how much return shipping it will cost if it doesn't fit right.

None of my friends own wintec - they all use leather saddles which I would buy if it werent for the cost. I ordered that saddle today and if it doesn't work out, I am able to return it within thirty days which is good!

I would recommend looking at online tack stores for good deals - you never know what's out there till you look!
