Tucker saddles, as a brand, hold their value. I've never seen one sell lower then the $700 one that you are looking at. However, condition, as it is with everything, is the key. 2 seasons of trail riding can beat up a saddle if it isn't taken care of and it's been given very heavy use. I've seen some very well made saddles look like hell after 1 season yet I just sold one of my saddles for what I paid for it ($1,200) after 13 years of a LOT of trail riding - but I'm fanatical about tack care.
If you like the style, and the saddle is in great condition, it is worth the asking price. Just be sure it fits your horse well. BTW, the seats on the Tucker run small so that if you fit in a 15", you need a 16" or even a 16 1/2".
I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
It's not always what you say but what they hear.
