Is This A Good Leather Punch

I need one that actually works and I know the $10 things just don't cut it. (pun intended )

Tough-1 Pro Rotary Leather Punch - 5008184 | Tractor Supply Company

Is $30 enough to drop on one and expect it to punch holes in my stirrup leathers?

TIA!

You're very welcome. I've had mine for years, and it's been great.

If you want to keep it good and sharp use a scrap chunk of saddle leather to put underneath the leather that your punching the hole in. that way the cutting edge won't hit the anvil and dull your cutting edge. Makes really nice clean holes that way.

Have a good one.

TY for the tip. My husband is on the way home with it now, so I'm going to try it out on my daughter's stirrups. I am glad you responded before I punched the first hole!
