Is this a good saddle?

Depends for what you're looking for, that question open ended is practically impossible to answer.

I would say no, it looks cheaply made. I would look for a good used saddle if you can't afford a new one. Even the well made used, older saddles are going to give a better ride for you and your horse than a cheap new one.

I think the quality of the saddle for you depends a lot on how well the saddle fits the horse, and then the rider, and then the quality of the build.

On here we can't answer all that.

It's a cheap saddle but if its really comfy for you, and a great fit for your horse, its as good as any.

I trialed one of the downunder kimberley synthetic aussie saddles, it actually appeared quite well made and fit my short backed wide bodied Arab/Percheron mare well. It was too wide and flat in the seat for me though, and made my back hurt, but it is extremely hard for me to find a saddle that is comfortable due to back and neck issues.
